Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried figs chopped
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup butter melted
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. 2. In a saucepan, combine the chopped figs and milk. Heat until the figs are soft.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, brown sugar, melted butter, beaten eggs, and spices.
  4. 4. Add the fig mixture to the bowl and mix well.
  5. 5. Pour the mixture into a greased pudding mold or bowl.
  6. 6. Cover with aluminum foil and steam for 90 minutes.
  7. 7. Let it cool slightly before serving.
