Fig Tart Recipe
This fig tart is a delicious and elegant dessert perfect for any occasion.

Crust
- 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup Unsalted butter cold and cubed
- 0.25 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 large Egg yolk
- 2 tablespoon Ice water
Filling
- 1 cup Mascarpone cheese
- 0.5 cup Heavy cream
- 0.25 cup Honey
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 8 whole Fresh figs halved
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Add the cold butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add the egg yolk and ice water. Mix until the dough comes together.
Press the dough into a tart pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool.
In another bowl, whisk together mascarpone, heavy cream, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Spread the filling over the cooled crust. Arrange the fig halves on top.
Chill the tart for at least 1 hour before serving.
