Fig Almond Tart Recipe
A delightful tart with figs and almonds, perfect for dessert or a special occasion.

Crust
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsalted butter cold, cut into pieces
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tablespoon cold water
Filling
- 1 cup almond flour
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 6-8 figs halved
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg yolk and cold water, mix until dough forms. Press into tart pan.
In another bowl, beat almond flour, sugar, and softened butter until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix well. Spread filling over crust.
Arrange fig halves on top of filling. Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.
