Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the milk and vanilla extract, whisking continuously.
  4. Pour the mixture into a baking dish. Sprinkle nutmeg on top if using.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the custard is set.
  6. Allow to cool before serving.
