Main Ingredients
- ½ cup sugar
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ¾ teaspoon nutmeg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
Topping Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter, melted
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar, melted butter, and nutmeg. Add the milk and mix well.
Stir in the baking powder and flour until just combined. Do not overmix.
Fill the muffin tin cups about ⅔ full with the batter.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
While the muffins are baking, prepare the topping. Melt the butter in one bowl and mix the sugar and cinnamon in another bowl.
Once the muffins are done, let them cool slightly. Dip each muffin top into the melted butter, then into the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
