Dandelion Wine Recipe
This homemade dandelion wine is a delightful and unique beverage made from freshly picked dandelion petals. It's a perfect way to capture the essence of spring in a bottle.

- 1 quart dandelion petals freshly picked
- 4 cups water
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 whole lemon sliced
- 1 whole orange sliced
- 1 package wine yeast
1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil and add the dandelion petals. Boil for 10 minutes.
2. Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a fermentation vessel.
3. Add the sugar, lemon slices, and orange slices to the liquid. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
4. Once the mixture has cooled to room temperature, add the wine yeast. Cover the vessel with a cloth and let it ferment for 2 weeks.
5. After 2 weeks, strain the liquid again and transfer it to bottles. Seal the bottles and let them age for at least 2 months before drinking.
