Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Whole black lentils (urad dal)
  • ¼ cup Kidney beans (rajma)
  • 4 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger-garlic paste
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1 cup Cream
  • to taste Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Coriander leaves, chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Soak the black lentils and kidney beans overnight.
  2. 2. Pressure cook the soaked lentils and beans with water and salt for about 20-25 minutes.
  3. 3. In a pan, heat butter and add ginger-garlic paste. Sauté for a minute.
  4. 4. Add tomato puree, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook until the oil separates.
  5. 5. Add the cooked lentils and beans to the pan. Mix well and simmer for 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Stir in the cream and cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. 7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
