Cream Cheese Kolacky Recipe

Ingredients 

Dough

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

Filling

  • 1 cup fruit preserves any flavor

Topping

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough out on a floured surface to about ⅛ inch thickness.
  5. Cut into squares and place a small amount of fruit preserves in the center of each square.
  6. Fold opposite corners of each square to the center and pinch together.
  7. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  8. Cool on a wire rack and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
