Cowboy Casserole Recipe
A hearty, comforting casserole perfect for family dinners.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1 bag Frozen Tater Tots
- to taste Salt and Pepper
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned.
Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
In a large bowl, combine cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and half of the shredded cheese.
Transfer mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.
Top with an even layer of tater tots.
Bake in preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is melted.
Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
