Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 cup peas
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Gradually add beef broth, stirring constantly until thickened.
  6. Add carrots and peas. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
  9. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
