Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar packed
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 3 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Press the dough into a greased 9-inch cake pan.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Let the cookie cake cool in the pan before slicing and serving.
