- ¾ cup lard cold
- 5-7 tablespoons ice water
In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
Cut in lard until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Gradually add ice water, tossing with a fork until dough holds together when pressed.
Divide dough in half. Shape each into a disk and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before rolling out.
