Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Corned Beef Brisket
  • 1 head Cabbage cut into wedges
  • 6 Carrots peeled and cut into chunks
  • 6 Potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 Onion peeled and cut into wedges
  • 1 teaspoon Black Peppercorns
  • 2 cloves Garlic peeled

Instructions 

  1. Place corned beef in a large pot and cover with water. Add peppercorns and garlic. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  2. Add potatoes, carrots, and onion to the pot. Simmer for another 30 minutes.
  3. Add cabbage wedges and cook for an additional 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Remove meat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with vegetables and some of the cooking liquid.
