Ingredients

  • 1 pound linguine
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 pounds clams, scrubbed
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook until fragrant.
  3. Pour in white wine, bring to a simmer.
  4. Add clams, cover, and cook until clams open, about 5-7 minutes. Discard any that do not open.
  5. Toss in cooked linguine and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Serve immediately.
