Cinnamon Sugar Shortbread Recipe
A simple and delicious cinnamon sugar shortbread recipe.

Shortbread Ingredients
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter softened
- ½ cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Topping
- 2 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and ½ cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the vanilla extract and salt, and mix until combined.
Gradually add the flour, mixing until the dough comes together.
Press the dough into an ungreased baking sheet, smoothing the top with a spatula.
In a small bowl, combine the 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle evenly over the dough.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow to cool for 10 minutes before cutting into squares or rectangles.
