- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cinnamon Sugar Coating
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
In another bowl, combine milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Fill donut pan cavities about ¾ full with batter.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let donuts cool slightly before removing from pan.
For the coating, mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Brush donuts with melted butter and dip in cinnamon sugar mixture.
