Cinnamon Roll Recipe

Ingredients 

Dough

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Milk warm
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • cup Butter melted
  • 1 Egg

Filling

  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoon Ground cinnamon

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, and egg to the yeast mixture. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  6. Spread softened butter over the dough. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly on top.
  7. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish.
  8. Cover and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
