Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Ground beef
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon Ground cloves
  • 1 oz Unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in tomato sauce, water, and all the spices. Mix well.
  4. 4. Add unsweetened chocolate, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until the chocolate is melted and everything is well combined.
  5. 5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer uncovered for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. 6. Serve over cooked spaghetti and top with shredded cheese, diced onions, and kidney beans if desired.
