Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the tomato sauce, chili powder, cinnamon, allspice, cumin, cloves, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4. Add the apple cider vinegar and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours.
  5. 5. Serve over cooked spaghetti and top with shredded cheese, chopped onions, and kidney beans if desired.
