Churro Sundae Recipe
A delightful dessert combining crispy churros with creamy ice cream.

Churros
- 1 cup water
- 2.5 tablespoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 quarts oil for frying
- ½ cup sugar for coating
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for coating
Sundae
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- ½ cup chocolate sauce
- ¼ cup whipped cream
- ¼ cup chopped nuts
In a saucepan, combine water, 2.5 tablespoon sugar, salt, and 2 tablespoon vegetable oil. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
Heat oil for frying in a deep-fryer or deep skillet to 375°F (190°C). Pipe strips of dough into hot oil using a piping bag. Fry until golden; drain on paper towels.
Combine ½ cup sugar and cinnamon. Roll drained churros in cinnamon and sugar mixture.
Place churros in serving bowls, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, drizzle with chocolate sauce, top with whipped cream and chopped nuts.
