Main Ingredients
- 200 g dark chocolate chopped
- 3 tablespoon sugar
- 3 pcs eggs separated
- 1 cup heavy cream chilled
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Melt the dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
Whisk the egg yolks with sugar until pale and thick.
Fold the melted chocolate into the egg yolk mixture.
In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
Whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
Fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture.
Spoon the mousse into serving cups and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
