Ingredients 

Cake Base

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted

Topping

  • 1 package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the cake mix, egg, and melted butter. Mix well and press into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Mix well.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter in the pan.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes. The center should be a bit gooey.
