  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 can crushed pineapple undrained
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts optional

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the cherry pie filling and crushed pineapple (with juice) evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the fruit mixture.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix.
  5. Top with chopped walnuts, if using.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and slightly browned.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
