  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1 cup Chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla to the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
