  • ½ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder
  • 3 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ½ cup Chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
  2. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
  4. Boil for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract and chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  6. Pour into a mixing bowl and cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent a skin from forming.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
