  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
  4. Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Do not overcook.
