Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Yeast active dry
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture and vegetable oil into the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough and knead for another 5 minutes. Shape into buns and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Let the buns rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake the buns for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
