  • 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 clove Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 baguette French bread sliced

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mash until slightly chunky.
  3. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 5-7 minutes, until golden brown.
  4. Top each toasted baguette slice with the chickpea mixture.
  5. Serve immediately.
