Chicken Vindaloo Recipe
A spicy and tangy chicken dish from Goa, India.

Main Ingredients
- 500 g Chicken cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 1 cup Onion finely chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon Ginger grated
- 2 tablespoon Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chili powder
- 1 cup Tomato puree
- 1 cup Water
- to taste Salt
1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
2. Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. Add garlic and ginger, cook for another minute.
4. Add turmeric, cumin, coriander, and red chili powder. Stir well.
5. Add chicken pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
6. Pour in vinegar, tomato puree, and water. Bring to a boil.
7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
8. Season with salt to taste. Serve hot with rice or naan.
