Ingredients

  • 1 lb Chicken breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • ¼ cup Soy sauce
  • ¼ cup Mirin
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger grated
  • 2 tablespoon Green onions chopped, for garnish

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the chicken and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
