Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Transfer chicken to a baking dish. Top each piece with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
Bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 20 minutes.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
