Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken Breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 cup All-purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Marsala Wine
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped

Instructions

  1. 1. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness using a meat mallet.
  2. 2. Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off the excess.
  3. 3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown, about 5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, add the butter and mushrooms. Cook until the mushrooms are browned.
  5. 5. Pour in the Marsala wine and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sauce thickens.
  6. 6. Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. 7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve.
