Chicago Style Pan Pizza Recipe
A delicious deep-dish pizza with a thick, buttery crust, loaded with cheese and a rich tomato sauce.

Dough
- 2.25 cups all-purpose flour
- 0.5 cup cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1.25 cups warm water
- 0.25 cup olive oil
Toppings
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup sliced pepperoni
1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, and yeast.
2. Add warm water and olive oil. Mix until dough forms.
3. Knead dough for 5-7 minutes. Let it rise for 1 hour.
4. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
5. Roll out dough and press into a greased pan.
6. Layer mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, Parmesan cheese, and pepperoni.
7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until crust is golden brown.
8. Let cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
