Ingredients

  • 1 lb carne picada finely chopped beef
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small tortillas
  • Optional toppings cilantro, lime wedges, salsa, cheese

Instructions 

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the carne picada and cook until browned.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Cook until the vegetables are soft.
  3. Stir in the cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave.
  5. Serve the carne picada mixture in the tortillas. Add optional toppings as desired.
