Dough
- 3 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
- 1 cup Milk warmed
- ¼ cup Sugar
- ¼ cup Butter melted
- 1 teaspoon Salt
Caramel Sauce
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- ½ cup Butter
- ¼ cup Heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of flour and yeast.
2. In a saucepan, heat milk, sugar, butter, and salt until warm.
3. Add milk mixture to flour mixture; beat until smooth. Stir in remaining flour to make a soft dough.
4. Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic. Let rise until doubled.
5. For caramel sauce, melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, cream, and vanilla. Cook until smooth.
6. Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread with caramel sauce. Roll up and cut into slices.
7. Place rolls in a greased baking pan. Let rise until doubled.
8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
