  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Water
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream warmed
  • 2 tablespoon Butter unsalted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook over medium heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Increase heat and bring to a boil without stirring. Cook until mixture turns a deep amber color.
  3. Remove from heat and carefully add warm cream, stirring constantly.
  4. Add butter and vanilla extract, stirring until smooth.
