Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 10 cups Popped popcorn
  • 1 cup Brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup Light corn syrup
  • ½ cup Butter unsalted
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Place popped popcorn in a large bowl.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract. The mixture will bubble up.
  4. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and stir to coat evenly.
  5. Spread coated popcorn onto a baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
