Caramel Corn Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 10 cups Popped popcorn
- 1 cup Brown sugar packed
- ¼ cup Light corn syrup
- ½ cup Butter unsalted
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Baking soda
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Place popped popcorn in a large bowl.
In a medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 4-5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla extract. The mixture will bubble up.
Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and stir to coat evenly.
Spread coated popcorn onto a baking sheet. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
