Ingredients

  • 4 Apples
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • ½ cup Light Corn Syrup
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Wash and dry the apples. Insert skewers into the apples.
  2. In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Once the mixture reaches a boil, stop stirring and let it cook until it reaches 240°F (soft-ball stage).
  4. Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Dip each apple into the caramel, coating evenly. Place on parchment paper to cool.
