- 4 Apples
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ cup Light Corn Syrup
- ½ cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Wash and dry the apples. Insert skewers into the apples.
In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Once the mixture reaches a boil, stop stirring and let it cook until it reaches 240°F (soft-ball stage).
Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla, and salt.
Dip each apple into the caramel, coating evenly. Place on parchment paper to cool.
