Cajun Blackened Catfish Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 4 fillets Catfish about 6-8 oz each
- 2 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black pepper
- 2 tablespoon Butter melted
1. Preheat your cast iron skillet over high heat until it is smoking hot.
2. Mix all the spices together in a small bowl.
3. Brush the catfish fillets with melted butter on both sides.
4. Coat the fillets generously with the spice mixture.
5. Place the fillets in the hot skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until blackened and cooked through.
6. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
