Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Rice Pudding

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup white rice
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
In a saucepan, combine the rice, water, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add the milk, brown sugar, and cinnamon to the saucepan. Stir well and cook over medium heat until thick and creamy, about 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let cool slightly before serving.
