Dough Ingredients
- 4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1.5 cups Warm water
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 2 hours.
5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) with a pizza stone inside.
6. Punch down the dough and divide it into 2 balls. Roll each ball out to your desired thickness.
7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet. Add your favorite toppings.
8. Bake the pizza on the preheated pizza stone for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and crispy.
