Bow Tie Pasta with Broccoli Garlic and Lemon

Main Ingredients
- 12 oz bow tie pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 lemon zested and juiced
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
- to taste salt and pepper
1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, if using. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
3. Add the broccoli florets to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender.
4. Add the cooked pasta to the pan. Toss to combine.
5. Add the lemon zest and juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
6. Serve warm. Enjoy!
