Bolognese Tagliatelle Recipe
A classic Italian pasta dish with rich, meaty sauce.

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- to taste salt and pepper
- 12 oz tagliatelle pasta
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Add ground beef and cook until browned. Pour in the red wine and let it simmer until reduced by half.
Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, oregano, and basil. Stir well and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 1 hour.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook tagliatelle pasta according to package instructions. Drain and mix with the sauce.
Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
