Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 slices white bread soaked in milk
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 2 tablespoon fruit chutney
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Fry the onion in a pan until soft.
  3. Add the minced beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add curry powder, turmeric, chutney, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Squeeze the milk from the bread and add the bread to the meat mixture. Mix well.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  7. Beat the eggs with the milk and pour over the meat mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is set and golden brown.
