Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Blueberries fresh or frozen
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- ½ cup Water
In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, until the blueberries have broken down and the mixture has thickened.
Strain the syrup through a strainer to remove the blueberry skins, if desired.
Let cool slightly before serving. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
