  • 2 cups Blueberries fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch optional, for thickening
  • 2 tablespoon Water

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries release their juices and the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. If using cornstarch, mix it with water to create a slurry, then add to the saucepan.
  4. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
  5. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
