Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Blueberries fresh or frozen
- ½ cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon Cornstarch optional, for thickening
- 2 tablespoon Water
In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries release their juices and the mixture comes to a boil.
If using cornstarch, mix it with water to create a slurry, then add to the saucepan.
Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
