Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter softened
  • 1 cup Brown sugar packed
  • ½ cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 3 cups Old-fashioned oats
  • 1 cup Blueberries fresh or frozen

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, mixing well.
  5. Stir in the oats and blueberries until evenly distributed.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
