  • 2 cups Blueberries fresh or frozen
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest freshly grated
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the blueberries release their juices and the mixture starts to simmer.
  3. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool. Serve warm or chilled.
