Ingredients 

Batter

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup butter softened
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 unit egg
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

Topping

  • ½ cup sugar
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup butter softened

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix well.
  4. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk, mixing just until incorporated. Fold in blueberries.
  5. Pour batter into prepared baking dish.
  6. For the topping, combine sugar, flour, and cinnamon in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
