Ingredients

  • 2 cups blackberries fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. Blend blackberries and sugar until smooth.
  2. Strain mixture to remove seeds.
  3. Mix in heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Chill mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  5. Pour mixture into ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer's instructions.
  6. Transfer to a container and freeze until firm, about 2 hours.
